Any of you into Fine Porsche Furniture?

Burning Brakes
I like the anti-earthquake/side impact head protection bolsters on the seat tops. Will a HANS device utilize those straps? I read especially vigorous books and need the neck protection.

Ahhh, I missed the straps. Subtle.
In the spirit of Porsche chairs, here's another Speedster chair recently made by Modernica for the Lüftgekhult event, along with it's inspiration (356 speedster shell).
They did a couple more too with more obvious Porsche references:

On the other hand. RWB cars in the garage tell me everything I need to know about the taste here, so... Am I a bit harsh? Probably. I actually love custom furniture and tend to support the makers with my dollars. I just strongly prefer that they don't BS me.

True, and I own several (wing chairs, not RWBs). My comment was more on overall taste. RWB is similar to what he does - adding odd mismatched things together in order to achieve ... what exactly? His 356 straps on these chairs are functional and aesthetic equivalent of RWB stickers.
Also, while winged chairs are classic, they are not these kind of wings. Nor do these sharp-lined wings bear any resemblance to classic Porsches. Nor do classic wings (top of the chairs) and mid-century Scandinavian (bottom of the chair) go together. Nor do they have anything to do with 356 straps. Nor do classic "Speedster" chairs look anything like this.
Other than that, if he finds his customers, I can only be happy for him, I guess. Still, I do believe that history of one's chosen field is not something to ignore.
PS. I know very little about furniture. Honestly. So take it as one person's opinion and dismiss it at will.

If I had to wager, and I'm not going to, the one making the most coin here will be Porsche for the trademark infringement suit by calling this "Fine Porsche Furniture".
Hey, I've got fine Porsche soap (Ivory with the name scrubbed off) that look like a classic speedster. $50 a bar, who's in?

My thoughts exactly.
Brian may be interested in Porsche but his chair design is, well........................
