Great stuff Martin! Thanks!

Takeaways:

So, varioram cars are 3mph faster (top end) than non, and S models are 3mph slower.

Since NB cars are quicker through the slalom than WB S, coupled with the above data makes a NB varioram car an overall better performer than an S.

So S models are sort of like RWB cars, or "posers" as the article states.

Except in resale.

We all love ( including myself so don't heap piles of flames/hate upon me) the S cars because of their wide A**, but in reality NB are better driver's cars, albeit slightly.

Regards,

.

Because every one of these cars has competed in 100% stock, as delivered form, without even adjusting tire pressure from factory specs.

Further, and yet again, my faux RS 3.8/regear/200 lbs less weight, is maybe, maybe, maybe 4MPH faster than the stock 4S on a ~75-125 pull from T15-T1 at Thunderhill (AIM data verified).

Indeed, thanks so much for sharing..... It is rare to stumble across new 993 content.
I never noticed this before --

"Made In Flacht"........Peter Gregg beat them to that a few decades earlier.

Also, love the steering wheel tip shifter photo has a female model

Shout out to our own Jochen Rohr, and his GT2 entry at Daytona. (Believe a current lowly GTD class 991 is about 10 sec/lap quicker?)
