Why not buy from your back yard?

Hi bobbyp, yes like the post 1 or post 16 (ebay from UK) but I really prefer them like post 1, flat edge (not thick "flat edge") and black ceramic coated. About the pricing for a set is not known yet, however I estimate the set should be between $280-$350 at most to be atractive, given the current Fabspeed ovals rolled edge set are priced at $350, so it should be similar, but hopefully John can give us more details once there's enough interest from us to make this happen.

The OE Porsche wide oval are very nice, no doubt about it, sure they are expensier, but the lack of no ceramic coating "option" is something that prevent me to buy a set aside from the cost.

This is the kind of interest I was hoping for! As snowbird mentioned, I had been unable to provide enough interest last year on this product. It has been a long road to get the R&D department to pay attention for this product, but thanks to DiegoR and this thread, we are able to accumulate that data!

I am bringing this updated thread and number of those interested in the product to the meetings every morning, and I am confident that given time we will invest in developing a product that meets the goals of this community. Lets keep the interest coming! The more the merrier

Always wondered why FD discontinued these? Not sure if these were made "in house" or outsourced to their spec? I wonder what would be involved for them (FD) to crank these out again? Not to steal any thunder or opportunities from Fabspeed...

I'm interested potentially too. Especially if the tips can be lengthened appropriately so both tips project the same distance out from the bumper. The OEM ones are nearer to the bumper on the list and further out on the right. While it is OEM, it just looks odd IMHO. Flexibility on finish options would be great too!

Regarding FD's wide oval tips, they weren't made in-house and it is my understanding complications arose between them and their supplier.
