Seems like B6 is good for US ride height/springs. B8 for lowered cars. Check out this recent thread:

yes b8 is same response in shorter stroke, for m030 and lower - after i asked the question did a search

b6 for higher ride height cars

I don't think I've ever seen a car with B8's. Only B6's. Mine is lowered to RoW and is on B6's. Weird.
