Default Need help with 993 key remote

hey Guys,
So I finally found a perfect dream car 993 and bought it, everything is good except the car came with only the key no remote and I can open the doors with key and start and drive car without issues, however I would like to add a key remote so I dont have to use the key all the time, please help me with my best option, I can find a remote on ebay for less than $125, then I know I need the 4 digit code for immobilizer/central lock unit and then using the procedure, I can program.

Is this is the right direction or should I leave it as is and get an after market central locking unit installed ??

thanks in advance

Are you sure it came with remote locks? You don't mention the year but many 95s did not come with remote locking.

If you're opening the car with the key, it doesn't look like you have an immobilizer installed in that car.

Right, I believe the key hole is covered with a (removable) plastic cover on cars with immobilizer/remote.

If you want remote unlock in this case, get a Tore kit:

Thanks guys , it's a 1995 sold in last 94, and there is not plastic piece so that might be the case that I need to add this keyless entry system , there is a sticker on back window saying Porsche car alarm does that mean anything and I do have the red led lights on doors

Yep. You have Porsche alarm but no Immobilizer and no remote on early 95s
