Could Porsche Build a Car that Feels Like a 993 if They Wanted To?

Didn't Nissan I the US buy a load of old Z cars up a few years ago, just prior to launch of the 350z, completely Refurb them and sell them as new??
As per the OP I think, if they can navigate the regs worldwide and get another run of 993s to market, same footprint, with an evolution of the AC motor, I reckon they would sell all they could make at a price above 991.
The new Mustang is doubtless superior to the early cars in every way. Doesn't make the new car redundant. But if you want a mint, restored old car you will pay far more than for a 2016 model.
Jaguar recently did the same trick. That's what Porsche will be missing if they don't offer this soon. Likely not on a 993 either, maybe something earlier. They won't be blind to what Singer are doing.
