What is my 993 worth?

I think you have some nice mods and I could see you getting around $45k due to the rebuild being only three thousand miles ago and trans at 5k. However, I thinks it going to be a little hard getting more due to the spoiler and wheels, In my opinion. It's going to take a very specific person to buy it the way it is now. Fwiw

I was just asking what the value would be, I don't need to sell it, money is not the problem. But it does seem like rennlist is loaded with purists that would buy a pile of crap that was stock, than a car that was maintained to the hill that is actually better looking, and runs better than what the manufacture put out. I guess we'll see in another 20 years.

There are a few mods that improve the value of a 993, like suspension upgrades, and then there are mods that personalize your ride but don't typically improve its value and may even reduce it. It's a simple fact that highly visible mods like purple brake calipers, unusual wheels, and a tail will limit your prospective buyer pool and thus likely reduce your car's value.
Whether or not your car is better looking than original is purely a matter of personal preference. Me, I don't care so much for silver.

Interesting. Good luck with your decision either way.

The wheels are indeed polarizing. And even if those wheels are worth $3,000, they're not selling that car and OP would be better served selling them separately. As Ilko correctly states, the car is worth more in stock condition. Sell the bits like the wing and the wheels separately. You did a nice job making that car yours, but stock is what sells.

From one Mark to another enjoy what you have spent time, money and attention to detail on - your car built to suit your individual tastes and wants.
I modified my 95 C2 solely with my tastes in mind, I couldn't give a flying f what any purist thinks or how my mods have had an impact on value. Enjoy your custom designed creation in good health and smiling with every mile spent behind the wheel.

Take it with you, the cars are worth more in Europe anyway. If you decide to sell it, you can sell it over here (Europe) and hit your $60k hopeful target easier than in the States. I drove my 993 in Croatia last year, it was pretty decent but the best roads are north in the Alps.

+ 1 with Donster post.......its in the eye of the beholder......I would think it would cost around 10k to get rid of the tail, add and paint a new deck lid, paint the calipers a normal color and add new wheels. So the 60k you wanted just went down to 45-50k. Personally, I'm not a big fan of the purple calipers, wheels and the tail should only be on turbos. I'm sure there is someone out there who likes it just the way it is........YOU, so enjoy it.....fwiw
