Car Magazines
Which car magazines do you guys all read on a monthly basis. I am coming up with a marketing plan for our business that is going to include some print advertising. I just want to get an idea of which magazines everyone here likes to read every month now that the print media business is dying a slow and painful death.

I think you might find a different demographic between different RL groups...
But I do get the Panorama (don't really read it too much); Grassroots Motorsports; Motor Trend.
I do buy Top Gear Magazine time to time- as its literature content is much better than what's available here. And I might buy a few issues of Total911 or Excellence if I do see something worthwhile.

Panorama, Excellence and Grassroots Motorsports. I subscribed to Road & Track for probably 35 years and it was my favorite but I dropped 2-3 years ago after they were bought out and let everyone go.

I don't subscribe to car magazines any more because most good content winds up online. Panorama is the only one I get now, because it comes with PCA membership.
I also was a long time subscriber to Road & Track but dropped it for the same reason. When Peter Egan and Thomas L. Bryant left, and they moved to Detroit, it was all over.

Motorsport.
Any other car magazine is just an extended printed infomercial. Cannot recall last time I read a car review in (insert name here) that did not gloss over obvious shortcomings while elevating the prose in direct relation to the advertisers dollar spend.

Classic Porsche
Panorama
Excellence occasionally
There is so much choice to read on current models and so little on older models, I gravitate toward magazines that have specific content that interests me. My bookstore offers an unbelievable selection of Porsche magazines from around the world. Oddly enough, when a model is hyped (rightly or wrongly)...say like the GT4, seeing all those magazines with the same model on the cover (at the same time) kind of turns me off. I can read to my hearts content on the net when high profile cars come out.....why do I have to spend $$$? Cheers

Nowadays I subscribe to Sports Car Market and read it cover to cover. At the newsstands, on the odd occasion, I will pick up Automobile. That's pretty much it even though I used to buy all of them.
