Default Euro Turn Signal

I have always disliked the front bumperettes that came on the US model 993s. The euro bumpered cars have always looked 'cleaner'.

I have found the parts to replace the US turn signals with the Euro versions, however I wanted to know if anyone else has done this conversion and if so are there any 'gotchas' that I need to know about.

Additionally I will probably replace the fog headlamps at the same time with the turbo 'S' air scoops. Any input on this installation would be appreciated also.

Thanks!

Harvey, alot of info is in the archives. I just did it so I will chime in. Pretty straightforward for a body shop. They will have to fill in the space where the bumperette was as there will be a notch in the bumper. After that, all that is left is a respray as the turbo s duct and euro light are basically plugged in. Looks much cleaner, as you stated.

Do you have any close up pics of the conversion process (i.e. the bumper with the bumperette off)?

Wow. The 'notch' is a lot bigger than I anticipated. What did the body shop use to fill that in?

I believe a flex putty. It came out great! I will post pics soon as I am getting my new computer soon. No card reader on this one.
