Question Screws: where to find them?

There are four flat-head plastic screws attaching a black plastic divider or seal, between the engine-bay cover (rear hood) and the plastic light bar/lenses. where can I find replacement screws? Mine are missing. Local body shop no help. Closest P-dealer is 100 mi. away. Thanks.

Go to Home Depot, Hardware Section, look for automotive fasteners. You might not find what you are looking for but it's nice to know what they have for future use. While you there, you can pick up a pair of the plastic plugs for your front lisence plate holes.
good luck

They'll probably be much cheaper at HD as well. I wanted to get some replacement screws for the wheel well liners and the deal wanted $4 for each screw! YIKES!

Burt,
If they are the screws I am thinking of I doubt you would ever find them anywhere but a dealer. Most dealers will send you parts mail order so just call one. I have had good luck with Suncoast (FL). Stoddards (OH), and Sunset (OR).

Burt,
Those aren't really screws, more of a "quarter turn" fastener. You'll have to buy them from the Porsche dealer. They are easy to lose as they are not "captive" when ths trim piece is removed. Send a digital photo to the Porsche parts guy and he'll send them to you on a cc.

Burt, Mike's correct. They are not screws at all. They are part 999.590.036.40 "cap nut". There is one color indicated "01c black". You should be able to order it from this info. They are not easy to find in the PET.
