Post Becker CD radio

I am thinking of looking for a Becker CD radio for my 97 993.

Does anyone know if the Becker CD radio will just slide into the box if I try to replace my Becker tape radio?

Does anyone have an old Becker CD radio for sale?

Thanks!!

The CR-210 (cassette) and CDR-210 (CD) are interchangeable.

If you look on the Porsche.com site for north america, htere is a section for remanufactured parts (engines, gearboxes etc). They also do replacement radios etc.

I have one that was taken out of the '98 993 CS....it is a CDR 210....one of the set keys was missing, but it can be replaced by Becker USA or one of there local shops cheaply.

A new CDR 220 is $650.00 with the modification required for a 993....new plate to allow you to read the LED diplays

The shop that supplied the new CDR 220 offered me a credit of $250.00 and or would buy it now for $250.00.

Email me if you want it

You might want to try the Becker website and I've seen them occasionally on eBay too.
I gave up the search an got an Alpine head unit instead

If you want to play CD's in the car, have you not considered installing a CD changer and connect that to the radio-casette-player?
