Default new targa owner/tightening things up

hi,
i have resurrected an old targa thread that seemed relevant to my post.
i am looking to find ways to reduce what seem to be somewhat typical targa noise and seal issues.
within the thread linked below, a member mentions the TSBs for targa fixes.

targa thread from last year

is it possible that someone here could provide a copy? if there's a cost issue, i would gladly oblige.

also, someone mentions applying additional foam or padding materials to reduce noise. if any one has experience, please share.

i have also experienced a 'knocking' sound, i believe on low speed turns, not consistent, feels like top of pass side A pillar area. PO did lower car some and installed H/R susp kit , so i dont know if it is roof related, but i thought i'd throw it out there.
thanks to all, john.

Hi Chris,

I am also trying to reduce the noise of my '96 Targa. If you don't mind, can you also send an email to me?

Jago, this weekend, I will try to use Pedro's Ice Wax on the edges of the glass top and windows to see if it might reduce some noise. Will post result early next week.

Thanks,

Hi Chris,

I am, too, trying to reduce the noise of my '96 Targa. Could you please also send an email to me?

Chris,

Please include me on the e-mail. My '98 targa has a symphony of sounds from the roof that I would like to at least lessen.

Thanks,
Jay

Chris,

I'm a Londoner picking up an Arena Red 96 Targa on Monday (Inspired, I might add, by your stunning motor). Just in time for the rainy season. I know I'm late to the party, but could you send me the the Targa Noise Reduction email too please?

Thanks in Advance,
Darren
