My favorite is the rod bolt hardware we need to replace with each GT3rs and SUPER CUP engine rebuild. The rod bolts, nuts and washer are approx.
$60,$57 and $37 respectively. As if that wasen't enough, the assemble lube required to properly torque them is approx. $400 per ounce.
Fortunatly,PMNA has tested and approved a specific ARP bol/washer and nut kit.It runs approx.$220 per set and is said to be reusable. We still replace them each time, but that is still a savings of over $1500 per rebuild on rod hardware alone.
Happy shopping,Jerry

The rear cap/cover for the camshaft in my 951 (Part No. 928 105 153 02)... US$17.00 last year... over US$400.00 today!!!!

Also the tie wraps that have hold the cables in place... if I remember correctly it was more than US$7.00 a piece... a tie wrap!!
