Karim, Your sniffing glue too. Show me where anyone has bought a clean, average mile TT for $55K

If you want to spend the same money on a high mileage TT from a stranger, thats fine. If you want a great deal on a fantastic car with the right upgrades, then look at Viken's car.

Randy You can get a TT for 55K.... that has been in
a accident or has a salvage title. Otherwise 70K+ for a
low mile TT, in the high 60's if you work hard for a 96.
Speaking a clutch's I just wish I had one that worked- boosted
or not!

Not all of us prefer a TT - I could easily afford one and choose a 1998 C2S as I liked it more.
It is not a question of one being better than the other...it is simply a question of which one makes you happier.

No one said everyone prefers anything. There are plenty of people who can afford Porsche's and they drive Pontiac's. It's not a matter of only $. Some of us make sacrfices to own these cars. There are lots of choices. Mike W

Mike,
The comment was "***** envy" and it appeared on the previous page.
Some people have the opinion that the TT is better <period> and that anyone that has another car really wishes they had a TT.
That simply isn't true.
They are all great cars and we all, no matter how much $$$ we have, sacrifice something to make a purchase like this.
We should all be thankful that we have the oppurtunity to be custodians for these vehicles...no matter which flavor we choose to drive.

I agree with you the D.C. We are fortunate to drive any of these cars. Having owned 6 Porsche's the last being my 95C2 ,which I hated to give up eventhough I had bought a TT. The truth is I'm worried about Old Guy. He bought a TT and now may never see his son again! Mike W

I did not think about my mother-in-law!! (other family members)
I could have
kept my son! he was getting to be a good golfer!
What does a good mother-in-law bring these days?
