What's your next car going to be?

Would want to take factory delivery of a 997, drive in Europe for two weeks, and ship to US. Only time will tell about how it may really look and what the first production reliability is like.

930 or 2.2 - 2.7 911 (pre impact bumpers) for restoration project. Also some older 911 race car might be one.
If I ever get never than my 993 is, one of these will be the next: 993TT, 996 GT3, 998 or 997.
Just to be sure, my next car will be next to my current car, I ain't selling this one.

Even the gas mileage is respectable. With just under 6k on the car its averaged 21.5 since I took delivery.Overall,i am very pleased with this car.

Hard to answer because I really love the 993. Since the day they were released it had a certain draw for me. Until the 997 is released I won't know if that craving exists again. But my next car will most likely be a Porsche and a GT3 is a possibility. Hard to imagine giving up my 993, I still miss my 3.2 Carrera whenever I think about it.

fluid15,
I can relate to missing your 3.2. I still enjoy my Carrera and it's the main reason why I don't have any plans on giving it up. It's still a great car.

Been to the Goodwood Festival of Speed today - big problem - dream car is now the Carrera GT - for me, it looked much better than the Enzo parked near it (not to mention the GT1 near it too). Sounded fantastic, lovely detailing, the guys opened the engine cover, took the roof of for us - & 20 minutes later drove off. WOW.

I'm changing my answer.
Since I already have a 911 I'm going to import a TVR Tuscan S (http://www.amazingcars.freewebsites.com/car/tvr/01tuscans.shtml)or the new Clio (http://www.rsportscars.com/eng/cars/clio_v6.asp)

NOT A MINI POOPER "S"... that's for sure... got a fully loaded one & it had so many probs... the dealer refunded my $... ("un-wind" deal)
although i still miss the british female nav. sys. voice.... when she would say: "you have arrived" i'm not missing the 0-60 times nor the parts falling off..... sorry for getting a little OT... but... just don't do it.
MY NEXT WILL BE A GERMAN.... a late model speedster!!! was gonna do the TT thing but too many on the road here. <img border="0" alt="[oops]" title="" src="graemlins/oops.gif" />
why do we always think of the next one? when i'm pretty stoked right now?
<img border="0" alt="[burnout]" title="" src="graemlins/burnout.gif" />
later.

I mean, I dream about getting this & that (if god wills) but seriously, "everyone" seems to be interested in: depciation, "what happens if I put this wing to my car? I like it but what's the next owner going to think about it?" etc.
Me: it is MY car, I'll do whatever I think is best & I like? Why would I worry about $1000 I mught lose if I want to sell it when I did something I like!? (well, seriously this doesn't "thouch" me so much because my 993 will be my son's car after I'm too old to drive).
Even if it wasn't, I don't care about the next owner that much, I care much more about the current owner & what he likes!!

I like your plan of your son being the next owner - I wonder what things will be like in 17 years time when my two are old enough to drive! Our cars will look so different to anything they make then!
