If its aluminum you can anodize it which is typically more resilient than powder coat. If its steel then you'll need to powdercoat. They are both really strong finishes and will look great.

I like it. Looks well made and gives it an old school look.

I like it if that is your only car. I'd like one for my BMW 2002.
I guess also a perk that it comes from San Diego.

Yeah, well, my other car is not as fun to drive so I only use it when I can't drive the 911. If there is no snow, I always take the 911. I have a roof basket on both cars though

Call me crazy but for decades I have been throwing my hockey bag behind the front seats and putting my sticks between the pass side seat and door. I have owned coupes, targa's, 964's, 993's, G50 Carreras, 930's and lots of variants. The only car it was an issue with was the 94 Speedster and since I typically went to the rink by myself I would put my bag on the pass side. Sure it stinks on the ride home.

One summer when the only car I owned was a 993 coupe I had a rack for my surfboards on it. That summer I used to put my sticks on the rack but still tossed the bag in the back.

In the 1990's I lived in Chicago for a while. I played in a league with a lot of other traders from the CME, CBOT and CBOE. That was a very competitive league. Chi was a great hockey town.

I have put the bag/sticks in the car but I have a roll bar in the back. Jamming everything in the front passenger seat means no passenger(I give teammates rides) and if I am alone the bag flops over on the shifter and it is annoying. And smells. I also enjoy the strangeness of the 911 with hockey bags on the roof. It makes me happy.

Lots of leagues in Chicago. Hockey life is good.

Default +1 Nice 911 (993) roof luggage rack; Not Yakima, not Thule ..

+1 .. Function trumps aesthetic most of the time . . .

What is the Pedro custom racks cost?
