Finally Purchased My 993 C2!!
Well after my 5 page post, and all your much appreciated advice, I pulled the trigger on a '95 Blk/Blk 6spd coupe with 86,600mi Thanks guys, I was concentrating on '96-'98, but this car was so clean, all the paperwork including, PPI, maintenance, receipts, clean carfax, and window sticker, and your education regards, ''95's, it was a no-brainer! Delivered mid $30's Thank you!! I'm hooked!
Now the questions start...Yes I know "search" is my friend, but appreciate chatting with you guys too. Believe me I will be doing both.
First question, it has RH 18" turbo twists/Bridgestone Potenza's. is that a bad thing? What are they worth, if I were to sell the set?

beautiful car! will put smiles on your face for years to come! black is a stunning color...for the first 10 minutes or 1 mile after it's washed/waxed.

The '95s manufactured in mid to late '95 came without the basket handle which makes this car one of what many consider to be the best of both worlds, OBD1 and no basket handle!
Looks like the steering wheel has be covered with perforated leather at some point as well.
Congrats on a beautiful car and welcome to the family

Congrats. Nice car.
There are a few types of twist wheels:
The standard solid twists (likely what the car came with from the factory), a hollow spoke twist (most desireable and lightweight), and similar boxster wheels. The Boxster wheels are less desireable on the 993 because they aren't the ideal size.
You can definitely can find a buyer for them if you choose to sell. I have a set in my basement and I will restore my car to OEM if I ever sell.

My 1995 C4 has a June 1995 build date and also came from the factory without a basket handle. I believe March 1995 build date was the cut off when they dropped the basket handle. And many pre March 1995's have since undergone a basket handlectomy. What's the build date on your car?
