Car has been lowered appears that only Griot at $ 389. has a good low
(2 3/4 ") profile floor jack. Any other recomendations as to on line purchase sites for good low profile jack would be appreciated
.
thanks

I second the AC DK 13/DK20. Much easier and safer than other jacks I had. Much discussion in past about jacks in archives. Griot's has some good jacks too, but seemed to be at a premium when compared to AC jack when I check last year.

Hi Dennis,
I have what I consider to be a cheap and simple solution to the "car too low for the standard floor jack" problem: use a cheap scissors jack to just lift the car enough for the floor jack to fit whereever you want. When lowering the car to the ground, just place the scissors jack back where you originally had it before you lower the floor jack. This is a super easy and cheap procedure that I have been using for years with great success. Cheers,
