I'll send my email in a few. I'm not sure I'll be down in time for Baja Thurs, as I don't get home until midnight Weds, and have 500+ miles to drive Thurs.
" Bit of a scare yesterday as fire
shut down Hwy 68 until this morning. We had one large fire along 68 and
Laureles Grade, and another one further south from Carmel Valley Village
that is still only 10% contained as this morning.
All yesterday afternoon
there were two large bomber retardant airplanes circling around us
dropping retardant. Later we could hear helicopters as well dropping
water on the hot spots. There was also a reconnaissance airplane circling
directing everything. We could hear the fire engine sirens wailing around
us. We did not have to evacuate but this morning we can still smell smoke
around us. The Laureles fire they said only about 100 acres burned as
they jumped on that one first because of the proximity to the road and
all the houses. "
Hopefully crews will have this taken care of by midweek.
85% contained as of this am

FWIW: heard from the source today that "Porsche Island" (AKA corral #2) will be populated by three 550 Spyders, seven Carrera GTs, & TWENTY TWO 918 Spyders.
I already e-mailed the OP, but I'm following up to say that my father and I will be driving down from the SF area tomorrow afternoon and hope to make it to the gathering at the Baja Cantina. We don't have reservations yet so if anyone has a couple seats free let me know. Otherwise we'll try to squeeze in somewhere.
Lastly, I just downloaded the WhatsApp. I'm not exactly sure how to find/add you all to my contact list, but the OP has my phone number that it is linked to.
Looks like I have 2 seats available, inside, at Baja Cantina. I'll be driving down from the Santa Rosa area tomorrow in the early PM. Let me know when you'll be heading down, I was thinking I'd in Monterey by 3PM.
ALSO HAVE AN EXTRA ROOM AVAILABLE IN A VERY NICE HOUSE OVERLOOKING THE BAY.
ALONG WITH 2 (TWO) 3-DAY TICKETS & PADDOCK + REGULAR PARKING PASS (PACKAGE) if anyone's interested...
