Hey guys, before I get beat with a stick to do a search, I did do the search, but came up with nothing, unless I was blind and didn't see anything! hahaha
I'm just looking for a place where I can buy new stock rotors or good replacements for my 993. No Big reds, just the normal brakes.
I read the search about Zimmermans, being different, and would rather not deal with the hassle, unless you guys give me the green liht where to buy it, thanks for the help!
I believe Zimmerman also makes OEM. There's been a post discussing the difference between OEM Zimmerman and non-OEM Zimmerman. I think bet might be referring to Sunset which is in Oregon and advertises the cost +15%. Suncoast is in FL and I've found them to be slightly more expensive than Sunset. The trick in remembering who's who is to think of where the sun sets...
Another option is www.928gt.com. Mostly a 928 vendor but I got a pair of Big Reds OEM rotors from them at $330 inc. shipping. Shipping to Socal since they're in NC (ooh, wonder if they have power today?) might be a little bit more but worth giving them a call anyway. Also 928gt has one of the lowest prices for the power bleeder if you don't have one.
Thnaks guys for all the info, Im debating if i should go to the Big Red rotors. I fI do that, FOR SURE I have to change the pads (which I'm going to do) but also buy the caliper bolts to mount them on, thanks!
I'm in the process of doing the conversion. PM me and I can discuss with you what I've found out so far.
If you want a used set, LA Porsche (which shouldn't be too far from you) has a set for sale around $1400, inc. rotors, but minus pads. I've seen packages go for $1,995 new, inc. pads (can't remember where).

Is that what they're asking for a used set of rotors and calipers How much do these go for on eBay?!?
Maybe I need to clean out my garage and sell the set that came off my car
