993 Back to the street, selling MCS Suspension:
993 Back to the street, selling MCS Suspension: What I am selling is the Motion Control Suspension (MCS) 2W {Compression&Rebound}, and nitrogen reservoirs. It comes with H&R 600F and 900R springs with tenders. Price new is $4,400 for the suspension, $1,000 for the springs and tenders.
The suspension has seen about 8 track weekends over the past 2 years. It has not been crashed or damaged in any way. I'd include some pics of the suspension on the car....but the car is in the paint shop. Good pics available on the MCS web site
I am selling the suspension and springs for $3,900, or best offer.

martin, glws...it sounds like you are retiring her from track duty...I've enjoyed your commentary over the years; all the best with the change over.

My 993 is returning to street trim; it is in the paint shop now. Next stop, all the racing stuff comes off and is sold off, except the SPA fire system, the AIM system & Smarty Cam, the driver seat and belts....I am having a Spec Boxster built for me by Dan Aspesi at Speed Gallery in N. Hollywood.
With Spec Boxster, there are so many opportunities to race, PCA, NSA, Porsche Owners Club....and no endless parade of modifications.
I'll still be a 993 Rennlister. Been active here for too many years, and learned so much from fellow Rennlisters.

Roll bar, how about a roll cage?
Heigo Bolt In Roll Cage, Model HEI 993 002 005S for 993/sunroof coupe: $500 ($1,485 new): Also fits these models: 993TT, 993 GT2, 993 C4S, 993 C4, 993 C2S. The roll cage will be coming out of the car on or about the 16th, in Van Nuys no less...so you can come and see it.
