Search this topic...I like my Sumi's but there are many threads that go over this and I think it depends a lot on your type of driving

The Sumi's are great for the price but I don't think they are in the same league as the S02A's. Really depends on your budget.

I don't know why hankook stopped making there tires , I loved them but they are not available anymore , I went with Summo's now and they are just as good as Hankooks and great price.

I've been running with the S-04 Pole Positions on my C2S on the street. A very solid street tire at a a fair price. The rears lasted 5,000 miles including several DE's and AX's. The fronts still have some tread on them but I'm moving to the Bridgestone Potenza RE-11's. They grip more, but last less...

I went with Michelin PS2s, but I am not hugely impressed - maybe I set my expectations too high

+4 Sumis. 8000 miles and a couple track days and are still going strong. Once they are warmed up I think they stick just fine for how I drive my car

sumi's on 993, fits the handling characteristics of a mildly modified car just fine.

NYC993 has S04s and likes them. I will likely put those on my 997 turbo.

S04 is a great tire all-around tire (wet/track/street) for not a lot of money.
For street-only, it's hard to argue with value of sumi's. I'm gonna give them a try next.

For more performance (i.e. more track) there are other choices as well (RE11, Dirreza II, AD08).

Just pulled my SO4's off. The fronts have plenty of life left in them. 225x40x18's. Free to anyone that wants to pick them up locally or pay for shipping. Jim
