Question Lost my plate and bracket on I-76. Any East Coast Porsche junkyards?

Whole kit and kaboodle just fell off. Mounting bracket, screws, and the PCA license plate.

Local dealer wants $33+. Pelican has it listed for $26. I figured I could probably get it from a junkyard at 50% off those prices.

The only junkyards I know are partsheaven and LA Porsche, and they're both on the west coast. Does anyone know of an East Coast, preferably Northeast junkyard that specializes in Porsches? I can't seem to find any listed using the search funcion.

TIA

don't know any NE junkyards (good or otherwise) BUT....i got two mounting blocks from the dealer for about $ 10 went to a local body shop and had them drill holes in the license plate to match the spacing of the bumper holes. worked out fine and i was $ 10 out of pocket.

unless you really want the license plate mounting bracket this should work just fine for the front plate.

What about going with bumper plugs? I know, it's illegal in your state (mine too) but I just hate the way the front plate looks. The plugs are beautiful and so far, (1 year) no problems with the law. Hope I didn't just jinx myself...

Really like the search feature on DC Automotive site and the woman on the home page is gorgeous... a nice bonus!
