Wind noise
My friend's 96 993 has an irritating wind noise eminating from the drivers side air vent (the vent next to the door) at speeds above 110kms/hr.He has had all the door and window seals checked and replaced.Any ideas.Thanks.

This may be a long shot, but check UNDER the car. The aerodynamic plating underneath may be lose, allowing air in which runs up the pillar and exits around the window, creating the noise. This may have been discussed here before for Porsche, but this was also a problem with noise around the 5 series BMW windshield.
