A group of us are meeting Sunday (Nov 24) morning at 7:30 am for a drive. Your are welcome to join us. Exit the Ventura Freeway at Las Virgenes/Malibu Canyon, go one block west, and turn right on Agura Road. There is an Albertsons Supermarket right there. We are meeting at the corner of the parking lot immediately adjacent to the McDonalds.

Can't make this one, but am going to be in that area the following weekend. Never been to LA in the 993...where are teh fun places to drive?

JPS - best introduction would be to get to the intersection of Malibu Canyon and Mulholland Hwy and take Mulholland West all the way to PCH. Do it early to avoid the "crotch rockets". Drops you out at the ocean at Leo Carillo State beach. Turn around and head back the same way you came only take Mulholland all the way to Topanga Canyon, Turn right and it will take you back to PCH, then make a right and go to the Pier View or Malibu Inn for a great breakfast and place to unwind from the hour and a half adrenaline rush.

I am new to the L.A. area. How would I get to the meet location from the Hollywood Hills.
(Franklin ave in between La Brea and Highland?)

Take the 101 North and follow signs to 101 Ventura - Continue on 101 to the Las Virgenes/Malibu Canyon off ramp - turn left and follow directions from early in the post.

Once you are on the freeway it will take about 25 minutes at that time of day.
