Post Help interpreting DME (OBDII) download from 996TT

This has been posted on the 996TT board, but I am posting here due to heavier traffic.

Recently I requested and received from my local dealer the 4-5 page data download from my 996TT.

There are two levels of "overrev" - Level 1 and Level 2. In general I think level 1 is bouncing off the rev limiter and level 2 is a mechanical overrev. However, could someone please help me with a better definition of these two levels? I.E. specific RPM threshholds, and can the DME download the specific max RPM or just that it exceeded "X"?

Also, beside each level it lists the number of ignition cycles. Is a "cycle" one firing of each of the six cyls? At redline (say 7K for ease of math) would 7000 cycles equal one minute at the rev limiter?

Thanks. I have more questions, but rather than bombarding the board if someone knowledgeable would just shoot me an email (heelntoe@carolina.rr.com) then I can email a scanned copy of the data download.

Thanks
