Question for the Dash Cam Users...
I'm considering to finally get me one of these in Super HD. Want to make sure I'm covered just in case...
Looking for your input and suggestions. Did some research online and there are many models to choose from. What do you have? Ease of install? Power supply (fixed or the cigarette lighter).
Thanks in advance.

I have one of these in my Macan.
I have it mounted at top center of windshield, behind the mirror, so I almost forget it is there. It isn't super HD, just HD. I expect to never need to view the clips, but know it is there if I ever need it because of some jerk causing an accident. Very easy to install. I ran a power wire across top of windshield and down A pillar to a new switched circuit in fuse panel. So the camera powers up each time I start the car, and powers down when I stop the motor. i don't see the point in having any higher video quality when it is just there for insurance, not pleasure viewing.
