Does any one have experience with Getty Designs? I am in planning on buying the club sport fender flares and rocker panels next month to start my build.

hey i have getty flares and the skirts.

youre gonna need a reputable shop install them as they need massaging to fit perfect.

I had to add fiberglass to the front fenders to get the body lines correct to match against the flare.

Hit me up and ill send you what i had to do

I had a Getty RSA tail in my former 964 and while it was a nice part it was fairly representative of aftermarket glass. Fiberglass parts never seem to be a perfect fit and it's very common to need additional work to look/fit right.

agreed with 1990-964's statement. not on any part that getty doesnt make a good product just the nature of glass and the fact that you need to work it. ive seen rocket bunny and liberty walk kits that could have used alot of work to fit much better

Default Getty Design....

I have bought lots of stuff from them over the years, mostly tails and splitters. Before you do anything, leave them in the sun a day or two to cure....they will need some sanding before prime and paint; pretty much the rule for all aftermarket fiberglass parts.

If you want to have some fun and see a crazy shop, get an appointment to meet Arnold Getty at the shop. He likes cash if you know what I mean. Cash is King!!!!

You can buy CF flares from FVD or some European vendors. Fit will be much much better. All depends on your budget.

Thank you for the replies! I am still in the processes of gathering the parts, the build isn't going to start until December.

Yeah, on the previous cars that I had installed fiber glass parts. They always needed a little TLC to fit properly.
