Default Parts missing from katalog?

I was looking at a broken part I took off the top of the front airbox. It has part# 993.572.761.00 stamped on it, but I cannot find it in the katalog or in online searches. This is the first time I've run into this situation. Has anyone else had a similar experience?

You are, most likely, misreading a number. Happened to me before, some of the 5s and 6, for example, are hard to distinguish.

I have heard of manufacturers using numbers for internal purposes that are unrelated to the Porsche part number.

FWIW the first 6 digits suggest an exhaust system part which doesn't make sense for the location you're indicating. Have you been able to identify the "official" part number from the katalog diagrams? For example, if you are looking at illustration 813-05, position #1, the # would be 993 572 901 00

Scott, I can't see anything with 761 on it. Strange.

Default Parts missing from katalog?

Is it possible it is part of a larger assembly and not sold separately?

Yes, it was part of the airbox, but it is odd that it has a part number.
