Well Guys, Finally got my 993: 1995 Twin Turbo, 31,000km only!!
I know this is going to sound funny, but turns out the car is not Vesuvio Grey Metallic as I was initially led to believe but actually a Special Colour Option, Viola-Metallic with Classic Grey Leather interior, Sport Seats, the interior colour seems to match the exterior exceptionally well.
Very special, it appears black at night, very dark purple-blue during the day
Initially I had never considered this colour, was looking for silver or dark blue with black or red interior, but now it it must sound kinda strange but I have really grown to love this combination with the grey interior!
Actually at time of purchase was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to compare a real Vesusio Grey 993TT with mine and here are my findings:
Vesuvio Grey Metallic and Viola Metallic both look very similar especially in the late evening, both appear purple, but one is more grey the other more blue.
Anyway once I get around to taking photos, I will post picture links here.
Would love to find out if anyone has any experiences with this colour?

First off, love the vesuvius greys of the Carrera S's. Secondly, am really keen to see the colour of the car you eventually got. Also grabbed a look at your 964 speedster. That is seriously special...certainly hope you didnt sell it Ray.

Thanks!!
I still have the Speedster, apparently 14 RHD cars only worldwide according to an article in 911 and Porsche World, so I am definitely keeping it!!

Here in Singapore, we only have one left (all the rest have been exported, and there is no way of reimporting them), speed yellow but unfortunately a tip.
