Couldn't find much info, but only 18x8.5 front wheels using different tire size combination with the 18x11 at the back.
However I just bought a set of 996 hollow turbo twist wheels for my C2 wb (like 993tt) and I kinda refuse to use the factory tire size of the 993tt setup which is 225/40 & 285/30 because they seem like bit skinny to me and the comfort on these streets is not the best with such low profile tires.
Since the front remain 18x8" and rear now is 1" wider I was thinking to throw some Ventus RS3 235/40 and 285/35 (1.8% of difference in overall circumference as I understand).
I'm bit **** about how does look like the tires once mounted in the wheels, I don't like too sknny (profile) nor goofye/fatty look tires. So I would like to see what people are using with this wheel set and if you can post some photos that would be great.
Thanks!

it depends on my mood and my purpose.
245 / 295 for daily driving / canyon carving
245 / 315 if i want the steam-roller look
235 / 275 for DE days if I want the rear end loose
245 / 295 for DE days if i want to drive the grip, not the slip.
I think you are good to go as long as you keep diameter differential < 3%
have fun
RS-3s work well. I just bought some for the 997 also
here are two photos
kinesis wheels have 245 / 315 combo
996 TT wheels have 245 / 295 hankook V12 combo

The 245 are 40 profile correct? And 295 are 35 profile?
The Kinesis wheels at front are 8 or 8.5" wide? In the 996tt wheel 18x8" those 245 doesn't look fat at all!
If you have side photos of the 996tt wheels/tire combo, please post them

I'm running 105mm/101mm F/R and was rubbing in the front with my track wheels (996 WB twist) with 235's. Had to go back to 225's. How'd you get the 245's to work? What's your ride height? Wish I could fit them in there. I'm running decent neg. camber but still rubbing inner fender well and inside of outer fender lip. :-(
