Default 993 alignment Chicago area

i am installing Pss10's on my C2. Lowering just a bit to European levels. Can anyone recommend a good alignment shop in the Chicago area.

Secondary question. After installing Pss10's I am planning on driving about 300 miles to Chicago area for alignment. Tires will be replaced after alignment. Any issues or should I rent a car trailer.

Thanks in advance.

Fischer Motors in Lake Barrington. Ask Rick your tire question. But new tires first. Then align.

What direction are you coming into Chicago from? Maybe stop at Tire Rack in South Bend for new tires, then go to shop in Chicago for alignment.

I would not replace tires until after/during your alignment. If you bump your toe out of alignment during the PSS10 install you could destroy a set of tires very quickly. The shops listed above are good and I would add Midwest Eurosport as another option.

+100 for Eurosport. Great service, very fair pricing. 630-595-5577.

And another Eurosport endorsement. They've been corner-balancing and aligning my race car for years.

I also went to Chicago Performance and Tuning. Al was easy to work with and my setup after I installed the PSS10s was a mess. He sorted me out and got me to RS+10 and very useable, confidence-inspiring alignment settings. The car now handles very well with minimized bump steer and proper kinematic toe.

I have heard from a friend that he hasn't been returning phone calls. I don't know why.

In any event, I give them a thumbs up.
