Thank you all for the congrats and best wishes. Selling the C4S does not mean I am leaving this community. I will continue to pop in on a regular basis just as I have until now.

Congrats on a new car and you made good color choise also!
(Do you remember when we discussed about GT3 color choises and I was against metallic colors & preferred speed yellow, white, red...)
So, what are other specs?

Nice, Viken. Congratulations and like others have said, glad you will visit us regularly. BTW, how does Carrara White compare with Grand Prix (mine) or Glacier White?

Viken,
White would be my choice too, absolutely superb.
Yesterday met up with a friend who took delivery of his speed yellow GT3 (replaces his previous generation zanzibar red). Since taking delivery on just this last Sunday, he has already covered 480 miles, just trying to run in the car. He claims he already feels the difference in torque even without pushing above 4000rpm. Even more amazing are the brakes.
Sure you cant wait for the arrival of your beast.

Viken,
With the exception of the GT3 seats and center console delete, are there any other differences between US and ROW models? I mean, you're not getting a GT3 with SUV ride height are you? Or worse, bumperettes?
ps Funny how this 996 variant is getting a lot kudos from us air-cooled traditionalist

That's because it's got a motor/trans that is very similar to the 993s.

'Very much the business. I especially like the red seat belts.
Does anyone know the rationale behind the placement of the front brake calipers?

My car was sold last week and it is en route to its new owner. I am certain that he will take as good care of it as I have and enjoy it as I have.
I would like to thank all of you for your support and enthusiasm. You all have been a great bunch.
