Default FS 97 C4S with full rest/mod

Well......I thought I was building a car I would never get rid of, but sometimes life gets in the way. Due to some unforeseen circumstances I am selling my 97 C4S. There are several threads on it,but I figured I would put together a quick listing. I am sure I probably left something off. Seems every time I talk to someone, I remember something else. I was going to list it as a full restoration consideration all the work, but Ilko pointed out that a full restoration implies restoring to stock, and I tried to enhance where possible,so I figured rest/mod would fit. If you are looking for a low mileage original paint car............this aint it

1997 C4S with 177,334 on the chassis. The car has about 2300 on a total refresh/upgrade including :

Rebuilt motor with RS cams and RS intake valves
Rennsport reinforced engine carrier
Porsche RS motor mounts
Mild regear of transmission
New factory transmission mount
LWF and RS clutch
Total disassemble and full glass out paint job
New windshield and new rear glass

All gauges cleaned and checked by Palo Alto Speedo
New RS door panels with OEM RS door pulls from Germany
Custom RS carpet with silver piping from Lakewell in Belgium
Silver seat belts
Painted hardback sport seats which have had heat added
Rear Seat Delete
BBS LM wheels with new Hankook V12's
3 spoke steering wheel with silver crest
Walrod trim rings on instruments (also has on board computer factory option)
Aluminum and carbon shifter and E-brake
Goldenrod and SSK
BBS wheels
Bumperette delete front and rear
Headlight washer delete
New headlights with 3M film applied
HID conversion for headlights
Turbo S scoops which have been upgraded with Hella Micro's and then converted to HID to match headlights
Wide oval exhaust tips

Did they replace the Vin sticker or tape it off and paint around it? I'm curious because the shop that did mine said they cannot get a new Vin sticker so left mine in place, taped it off and painted around it.

Your car is beautiful! Good luck with the sale

This car coming up for sale after following the build thread and the time it took to get everything perfect has me questioning whether my daughter really needs to go to $university$!

GLWS although I wish you didn't have to sell it after all your amazing efforts to get to this stage.

Thanks,

Wish I didn't have to sell her, but I really enjoyed the build and someone will get a new car.
