Reminds me of the Zermatt Silver on my ex 1988 944 turbo S. I really loved that colour!

As David A mentioned above - the color is called Mirage Metallic. I've seen a few WB's in this color also.

And just to add a twist it was also available in that color at 1:18 scale by UT models albeit in narrow body only, some years ago I helped one of the brethren from France get hold of one as he also owns the real deal !

Sorry, I just cannot get into beige. They can give it sparkle or shine it up real nice or give it a cool German name. It is still beige, and it is boring...

I saw a similar paint to sample C4S last year driving around in Bamberg and it was a total head turner. The driver was picking her grandmother up in it, looked like some happy ladies.

The color of the 911 in the background of the photo is becoming increasingly rare . . .
