The panel gap between the hood and front bumper looks pretty wide. Also the right exhaust tip looks like it's hanging down too low. Never seen those wheels either.

The photos are not current. It is not green and lush in Quebec at this time of the year.

Tread carefully.

Careful now...I made the same statement about Florida and got flamed to a crisp!

On board computer was standard in all C4, C4S and turbo cars. It might have been standard in all tiptronic cars as well but I'm not sure about that one.

Not standard on all C4 and C4S. Turbo and all tippy cars had OBC as standard equipment.

For what it's worth I remember a car with this colour combo for sale in the Toronto about 3,4 years ago for 45K. Might be the same car but ya the non varioram doesn't add up.

Unfortunately true. Also known for corrosion issues due to the salt and de-icer solution that are routinely sprayed all over the roads.

And you're right about the non-varioram engine in a '96. Something clearly isn't right there.

Hi,

I've answered the pms, left a message to the guy, will see what comes out of it.
as for salt in Québec. ..yes it is pretty bad but most of the nice cars never saw it and are tucked away for winter months.
That's what I bought, a 5 minutes inspection will let me know if it's been winter driven, yes it's that terrible
For the interested, this afternoon is my last chance as I'll be away for a week, anyway these cars don't go that fast around here(unless the news gets out on rennlist?).

^If he gets back to you while you're away, I'll gladly check it out.
Examining the ad more closely makes it seem as sketchy as some on here describe. The font on the license plate indeed seems to be from Ontario?
Comparing the color and #7 between ON and QC plates.

Manual. No PRND+/-L in gauges.

Good eye.
Also, Quebec licence plates don't have an inspection sticker in the upper right corner afaik.
Maybe it's an Ontario car being sold in Quebec? Given what we've just said about Quebec cars, would that be a good thing?

The hood/bumper gap is wide, but that could just mean the hood isn't latched.

And no buttons on the steering wheel for a tippy either. Must be stick. But that non-varioram engine is odd.
