What a pity that no 996 emulates those gorgeous, organically shaped air inlets of the 993 and 964 Turbo S or, indeed, the 959.

I have to echo JC. As much as I LOVE the 993's, I'd go with the GT2. Fast is good, and faster is gooder.

Gosh, the Turbo S looks like a dinosaur next to that 996! I really do love the 993 TT "S", but a silver 996 TT with black leather and Navigation, hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Tough call. Rare is nice, but the 996 TT in silver looks VERY nice too!

A 2001 996 TT is now $15k or more less than a 97 TT "S" now... It's crazy how well that TT "S" has held it's value. I guess it IS the holy grail

From the rear only I like that 996 Turbo better. From any other angle, the 993 Turbo S is far sexier.

For my own driving machine, I still like the 993 NA better. I might give it up for a 996 GT3, but it wouldn't be because of the looks!

And yes, I'll take a 993 Turbo S anyday. Now, between that and a 996 GT3, however, might be a tough call.
