Here is a route that Sid Vicious and I intend to take to get to Alice's ---- SF -> 280S -> 1S -> Pescadero -> Hwy 84 NORTH -> Alice. The kids' ballet/games/soccer/lessons/swimming/etc. awaits in the later morn, so we will get our ya yas out in the early morn and arrive at Alice's at 8.

This route has beautiful scenery and relaxed cruising (early in the morn) with ocean views, followed by backroads driving to Alice's.

 

It's bee very foggy recently in the early hours, maybe not so many views.

What do you reckon for that route 1hr 30?

Still recommend 92 at HMB to skyline but that's shorter and the Pescadero (and even San Gregorio) runs are sweet.
