Hi all,
I was looking at a '95 993 and I had some questions about the various codes. From the sticker under the hood:
VIN WP0AA2996SS322549
993 330
L744 LC
C02 XD4 233 331 398 425 437 454 650 09991
I was wondering what the "L744 LC" stands for. Are these exterior/interior colors? What designates leather or vinyl interior? I used Robin's option code decoder and some sleuthing and the only code I'm unsure of is 09991. Any ideas as to what it means? Thanks!

Here's what I got from Kindel Option Page:
Code Option Description
09991 manufacture from the exclusive-programme
330 Radio Blaupunkt Toronto SQR 46, All models, not for USA
331 AM/FM Cassette w/2 door speakers
398 Left outside mirror - electric - plain [Prior to 1996]
398 17 " 5-Spoke Wheels (P205/50ZR17 front, P225/40ZR17 rear) [1996]
398 18" Technology Design Wheels [1997]
425 Rear wiper
437 Comfort seat left
454 Automatic speed control
650 Sunroof
C02 Equipped with catalytic converter
XD4 Porsche Crest Rim Caps
Not sure about the 330 after the 993 or the L744 LC. I do know that the paint sticker is on the inside passenger side of the front trunk wall next to the headlight adjuster holes - you need to pull up the carpet to see it.
Since you are local, if I can help at all let me know. There are a few of us Rennlisters here.![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
And by the way, that vin number falls in line with the other 95 cars with wiring harness problems. No guarantee that you will have it, but buyer beware (or what ever that latin phrase is that Steve always says - caveat emptor or something
)

Is the option sticker where the M030 code should be? Am I correct in assuming all 911s should be either M030 (sport suspension) or M032 (touring) ??
I can't find either code on my options sticker.
Just curious.

Thanks E. J.! I appreciate the heads up regarding the wiring harness issue. I'm sure I'll need to ask more questions of you as I hunt for a 993.
I think the 330 code refers to US/Canada Coupe, but I could be wrong. The "09991 manufacture from the exclusive-programme" code is pretty cryptic. Any thoughts as to what this means? Thanks again.

If your sticker does not show 030, you don't have the sport chassis option. The 032 is never listed on the sticker. Yes, in the US, naturally aspirated cars have either 032 or 030.

Didn't mean to cause embarrassment over a typo, really. I thought this was a bit of arcane Porsche info that I had never heard of, like "the 991 was the internal designation for the North American version of the 993 in 1995" or something like that. Oh well, have a great weekend.

Anyone know what the '740' option code is for? I checked Robin and Kindel sites but couldn't see it.
Also does anyone know where I can find a more detailed break down of the C16 option?
Thanks in advance.
