Default Bypassing brake pad wear sensors...

I know this has been covered here, but could not find it in the search. I'm installing new pads and rotors next weekend and do not want the wear sensors anymore - do not need them. How do I either bypass this circuit or rig the old sensors to not set off a light on the dash? Thanks.

Pull them out of the old pads, fold the wires a couple times and zip tie them such that the never come into contact with any moving parts.

Rick,

I've done what John suggested. No warning lights.

Rick
The sensor circuit is "normally closed" so the warning light comes on when the rotor wears through the sensor & breaks the circuit. Cut the sensor wires a few inches past the junction box on the strut. Expose & connect the two sensor wires together using a wire nut or crimped butt connector. Wrap the connection & wire tie it out of the way. If the wires are not connected, you'll have a warning light.
