My 1995- 993 with tiptronic does not decelerate normally below 2500 when I lift the throttle- a recent occurrence. It just carries on with steady revs. Have searched forums with no success- and checked throttle return spring. Also cleaned MAF, PO replaced O2, TDC sensors, etc. Any leads appreciated- thanks!

Am otherwise loving it- metallic grey on red. My 6th Porsche- first ever auto (tip) trans- which is truly a blast to drive- love the paddle shifting and the bulletproof feel. (Still have arena red/ black 993tt for summertime...)

Check the engine VERY thoroughly for vacuum leaks.

And make sure floor mat isn't binding the base of the gas pedal

DME. My car would do that some times, especially when cold outside. Changed DME, and no rev hang now.

Thanks Men! DME relay is new, gas pedal unrestricted and new vacuum all hoses all look ok. Should there be a vacuum hose to the DME relay? Searched web and Streather book for pix with no success...
