If you're willing to spend a lot of $$ fabricating then maybe...if you pop open the cover behind the tower you will see that the seatbacks and tower are bolted together and the seats are used to help brace the tower...so you'd have to do a bit of fabricating. Also you'd still have the central hump to deal with which is also a brace. I thought about this a lot and the most reasonable options were to go with a RSD kit or do some welding and mount fold down seats with lap belts only.

If you are able to do this at a practical cost I'm sure there would be a lot of interest in a kit...I'd buy one

David - I understand...does that mean all 'non-tower' 993s are 2 point static lap belts?
