Chrysler CDR-210??
Does anyone have a picture of what the back of a Porsche Becker CDR-210 looks like?
I am thinking about buying a Becker CDR-210, but oddly enough it has a Chrysler logo where the "PORSCHE" letters are usually located. It looks like the exact same head unit, but I'm curious if the plugs in the rear are different.
If anyone has any knowledge about Chrysler installing Becker units in their cars, please let me know.
Thanks,
Juhko

Okay, down to two last questions:
1) How/Where does one get the necessary wiring harness for the CDR-210?
2) How/Where does one get the necessary security code for an actual PORSCHE branded CDR-210? I would think a dealer might be the only hope?

One additional note: The Becker units for Porsche had a "modified" display. Due to the proximity and angle of view to the head unit, they needed to alter this so you could see the display from the drivers seat. This unit might not be altered, and therefore, hard to read for the driver.

You can try the dealer. They sometimes charge a $30 service fee to get the info. They just call into some toll free number and punch in the serial number.
Or you can send it into Becker. At the same time, they can do the modified face plate, and you can get the removal tools, aux line in, and antenna adapter.
The modified face plate is awesome. A definate must if it is not already done.
Rohan,
It could be a lot worse:
Lotus Esprit has Toyota taillights, Citreon mirrors, GM steering wheel
Ferrari uses Fiat vents
Lamborghini Diablo uses Nissan 300ZX headlamps
Zonda uses Mercedes AMG engine...oh wait, that's not so bad
Cayenne uses...a VW engine?
