Jason,
Should one expect better longevity from an RS clutch, and lwfw combo; or would the opposite be the case?
TIA

Sorry I have no idea. At one time there was a measured difference between the OE Sachs clutch disc thickness and the aftermarket OEM Sachs disc.

The clutch disc is labeled wrong for 964 and 993. For 996 and 997 GT3 it is right labeled.

bringing this ancient post back to the top because I'm clearly having the same issue.

The 4.0 RS clutch disk doesn't fit into my flywheel oriented in the manner thats been prescribed (when just sitting loosely)

Do you guys just use longer bolts to get it started, because my m8x45 bolts are not long enough to reach

thanks all, i know this is well worn and seems to work fine when assembled, but its a bit unusual.

bumping one more time to try to get an answer.

Do you use longer bolts to start bolting the assembly together because as noted the 45mm bolts are too short to get it started.

Thanks
