Are you referring to the one with the red turbo that was involved in an accident by the tech doing a PPI?

Yes. Wasn't any mudslinging going on - seemed like a potential good thread for anyone in the same situation. A little too 'brave new world' censoring on that one imo.

Maybe it was removed for legal purposes. It is going to get ugly for the shop who performed PPI and the driver who hit the car.

There was a lot of detail/specifics missing from the initial post. Something didn't feel right to me.

Lots and threads and even more posts disappear lately. Especially ones from specific posters and concerning cars for sale.

It may be helpful if the moderators told use why it was deleted.

That way mistakes by a member posting something, which is a no no, will not be repeated by others. Kind of a little education for the members.

That thread should not have been started the way it was in the first place for a multitude of reasons....having picture with his license plate and damage for starters.

I agree with you but we live in US...you know how the legal system works.
Everything you (and others) say (and post) can and will be used against you. I'm sure attorney told him to take it down.

Wow, and what would be the attorney's reasons.

I need to review rules on posting I certainly do not want to violate a posting rule and be subject to punitive action.

Potential future value of an accident free car vs one that has been in one.

The same reason some guys tape their license plates at DEs or when posting pictures.

You never know how something can be used. In his case, he has a battle with quite a bit of money at stake.

I can see this being the reason. Isn't most attorneys standard first move to tell client to not put anything on social media?

edited out my speculation. probably enough heartache for owner already lets just let it go.
