Default For Sale Smart Racing Quick Rls wheel hub

Short legs and long arms means this quick rls hub does not work for me. My elbows keep hitting the seat bolsters and prevent me from keeping my hands at 10 and 2 in tight turns. This item will only work with a aftermarket steering wheel (Momo,Sparco ect.)
Used in 2 club races, almost brand new.

Text from Smart Racing Products web page
"Quick Release Assembly:
Our new quick release for these steering wheels is the finest quick release adapter on the market. It moves the steering wheel back only 2.2" (3/4 further than our extension) and is simple to install (just 6 screws). A great theft deterrent or just makes working on or getting in and out of the car much easier. The quality of the design and workmanship is absolutely beautiful and unmatched by any other coupler on the market. Comes complete with all necessary hardware and instructions. Very fine splines makes radial play negligible" www.smartracingproducts.com

He just realised that he doesn't need a quick release...just open the top and jump out!

Just want to say that the Smart Racing quick release is truly one of the nicest units I've seen. Absolutely no play from side to side.

Kim,
I have this piece and it is very nice. I think it is installed directly to the wheel but if you needed it to extend further you can use the Momo hub.

Not everything Jeff! Just taking off parts that dont fit into next years plans... As I sell, I buy more!!!

The quick rls needs to bolt to a hub, I have a Momo hub but I think all hubs use the Porsche bolt pattern. If I had a shorter hub I could keep the quick rls. I also bought this with the idea of having door bars on my roll cage, did not get the bars so egress is pretty easy. The part is very well made, just below bulid quality of the Porsche Motorsport hub (600.00)
