The abarth above ^^^ is doing a stoppie

Like the title says, can 911s do endos? I'm talking actual endos. Rear wheels up in the air, front tires planted, while the car is stopping. I've looked for videos but every "endo" video is like on a race track or a cartoon. I'm thinking it should be possible but I'm not sure how the engine over the resr would effect things.
At first sight, I thought your post was a spoof on a different lame post, "Can a 911 do a burnout"

I believe what you're describing is called a "stoppie". A stoppie is when so much front brake power and grip exist, to lift the rear wheels off the ground, when slowing from a sufficient amount of speed and forward inertia.

In my mind, an "endo" is a term used by motorcyclists, or cyclists to describe going over the handlebars.

This post is a close second to, "Can my 911 do a burnout"

I expect the next parochial thread should be, "Can my 993 pull a wheelie?"

I'd think you'd run outta grip real quick.

Now onto the insults...don't be a "Richard".

Apparently it can do burnouts and wheelies. Not a fan of the video or idea, but who am I to judge? Looks like typical asshattery.

I was poking fun at the other thread but only about 50% of you played along, lol. I was cracking up reading the replies in that other thread and it's still going!!? Hahahaha.... Hhaaaaaa. Of COURSE a 911 can do a burnout. I'm 40 years old and I've done some killer smokey burnouts with my open diff fwd pos cars when I was street racing on V street and Metro down in DC. If you've never tried to do a burnout in any car, you suck, you're boring and you don't deserve a 911. That doesn't mean im ever going to do a burnout in my 911 but I sure as hell like stepping out sideways on some tight back roads and I will gladly loop a donut or 2 once I put my car back together and conveniently keep the output shaft coupler disconnected to my awd system,

I was totally being a Richard. I hope the OP of that other thread is making fun of all of us. We deserve it, lol.

And calling it a stoppie was way too easy. Do you not remember 80's freestyle bmx!? It's an endo...

LOL... I even used his original post verbiage and typo in my first post! And again in my 1st reply, lol. There are some epic posts in the histories of dozens upon dozens of online forums. His question wasn't the worst but the replies were priceless. Nobody just ignored him and said "sure" and left it alone. It actually sparked debate and typical internetdomness. Ah maybe I just amuse myself. This 993 forum is amazing. I literally read a multiple page thread about whether the torque spec was changed with use of antisieze on lug nuts..... ???!!!!!! OMG they're just cars, guys. I LOVE reading these completely over analyzed threads, lol.

Hmm. When I got my first 911 I'd never contemplated doing a burnout (first two years of driving were in a near-stock '78 Scirocco), and was figuring out how quickly I could get seat time in a 935. That didn't happen, but by the time I was 21 I did get myself into a Formula Atlantic. Albeit an older non-ground effects chassis.

So if that's boring and sucks, I'll happily have had the 35 years since then as being boring and sucky.........

Yes, and we always called em stoppies. An endo, in our vernacular, was usually followed by a subsequent face plant... East - West differences.

Glad to hear your post was a spoof...but I started to doubt it, based upon the follow on posts, for which you had no control.

I had always thought you had intelligent insight and responses concerning technical content of this forum.

Happy New Year, Rich!
