Black continues to lead the way! Now we just need someone with Cobalt Blue. Interesting that Black is the most popular when you look at this:
Porsche released these figures in the October 1970 Christophorus:
For 1960 the breakdown of colors ordered was:
Grey tones 38%
Ivory 20%
Red 19%
Blue 12%
For 1964 the breakdown was:
Ivory 27%
Red 26%
Greys 14%
Blue 10%
For 1970:
Oranges 26%
Ivories 14%
Greens 14%
Reds 14%
Blues 11%
Silver 8%
Yellows 4%
Black 1%

This poll needs Blue Turquoise as an option (standard 993 color, Mexico and Cobalt were not IIRC) and multiple select

Was out of commission for a few months June and July ... engine out....ended up rebuilding and re-gearing the transmission to GT Specs, RS Flywheel & Clutch including new LSD Plates. Feels like the transmission re-gear added 50 HP! Always in the power! Basically when you shift from 2nd to 3rd car is at 3,500 RPM as is 4th and 5th. Takes a bit to get used to but the car is so much more fun to drive now. Money well spent.
