Default my first porsche and 993

Hi all,
This is my first post - i am the new owner of 1994 993 with 24,800km (in Japan 993 was introduced in 1994)
Got this car few days ago, bought it based on photos, tomorrow will go to pick it up. Hope it is same as pictures.
Since porsche and 993 is completely new to me, maybe you can tell me more about it. Looks like it had some mods done....
It says "turbo" - but it is not maybe should take off this sign...
- is this original wide body?
also, can you tell me what kind of mod were done to it from photos?

More pics will come after pickup.

Nice meeting everyone and hope i will spend a lot of time here

does not look original wide body to me. Something wrong with the curve at the bottom of the rear wings or it is just the light. Don't think the made wb in 94. Anyway, enjoy the ride.

Yes get rid off thev turbo badge. That's a low kms/millage 993 right there!

Don't know but those white faces for the gauges seems to be aftermarket? I might be wrong but they look bit different from mine and others I have seen.

Congrats and welcome to the madness! +2 on removing the turbo badge. Quite some mods on the car. Are you planning to keep it modded or return it more to stock form?

Plus, sorry for the poor English, but what in the world are those springy thingys on the dash???

Welcome Hotaru-san,
That is a very nice low-mileage car. Yes, I think the widebody is an aftermarket modification (the front spoiler is, likely). Yes, as other have said, it's not a turbo.

Where in Japan are you?

The car looks really nice. Congrats!

Not sure what aero kit that is, but most likely not stock for this car, (but possibly OEM parts?) - front and rear bumpers, side skirts and wing.

By the way, lots of resources here to learn about your car. I used the VIN lookup (see this thread: https://rennlist.com/forums/993-foru...-your-car.html) to find out what I had purchased!

Nice car!

I think the wheels look good on the car. Suspension has been lowered and bezel ring and white faceplates are not oem but it looks better like this in my opinion.

I am surprised that you don't know much about 993 and you bought one based on pictures. Must be a good deal!

I'm also surprised the car has only 24,000 km but the body is modified like this and wires have been replaced (blue doesn’t seem original).

Enjoy your ride!

I don't know the Japan market... Anyone can confirm, a 15,000 miles 993 can’t sell for 25k??? Maybe I should start to import 993s...
