996 wheel/silver crest EBAY
I know some rennlisters are looking for this setup. This seller will ship across the pond. The buy it now with shipping (his email quote) was about 366 pounds which is $575.00. It's a lot of money but the silver crest air bags are hard to find. I have no affiliation...blah blah blah.

Thanks Mike......Should be here early to mid January. I'd been on the fence for awhile on the steering wheel mod, your post was enough to prod me.
Same thing happened almost exactly a year ago when 411 posted an ebay link up for 18" RUF Wheels, they make the car IMO.........

Congrats on a nice looking wheel !
Attractive wheels without a doubt, but at 30 lbs ea. I call em boat anchors.
Alois Ruf is chocked full O' **** when he said the weight of the wheels was for directional stability...Useless un-sprung rotating mass is work of the devil.

Well, the car is much more stable at 160 than it use to be, they do somewhat hamper my ability to lay rubber though.......

I bet you spend most of your day reveling in the higher moments of inertia, the extra weight, and the power it takes to spin up the added lbs. This is not to mention the increased gyroscopic effects that resist directional change at speed...
What's not to like about Ruf wheels?
